The Groet uit Schoorl Run offers a unique running experience thanks to its beautiful course. Running through the forest, the dunes, and the cozy villages of Groet and Schoorl will once again attract 10,000 runners to the North Holland seaside resort on Sunday, February 9, 2025, for its 45th edition. The popularity of the event is due to its stunning yet fast course through the magnificent forest and dune area managed by Staatsbosbeheer. The Mizuno 10 km is perfect for both novice and seasoned runners, while the half marathon (21.1 km) is considered perhaps the most beautiful in the Netherlands. For younger participants, there is the Kids Run of 1,200 meters, where all children receive a medal after finishing.
